We’re using a FIM2360S to control a steering motor. We’d like to use in closed loop count position mode. Oddly the FIM2360S menu doesn’t have the “Operating Mode” option.
How do I configure a FIM2360S to be in closed loop count position mode?
Attachments for FIM2360S menu, with no operating mode drop down available.
For contrast, attachment for 2160S showing the desired Operating Mode menu.
Thanks,
Michael.

Unfortunately, we currently don't have a implementation for position mode on our induction controller firmware. We are currently working on improving our FOC for induction motors, which will lead to the implementation of a position mode. For now, you will have to stick to our speed and torque control modes and implement a position control loop in MicroBasic. If you need any help with this process let me know.
