Disable Faults Undervolt Overvolt SDC2130 was created by robertito_c_r
Hello to all the users.
I am working with a SDC2130 controller and a critical battery.
I want to know if there is any command to disable faults and that they are not detected by the controller.
I hope to have help.
Thanks you very much.
Regards.

Hmm, I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you trying to clear faults or disable certain fault detection? The best way to clear most faults is through a power cycle, but I can help find alternative methods depending on the fault. Many can be cleared by switching to open loop operation.
If you are trying to disable fault detection, I can also assist with that, however some faults, such as a short fault or an over/undervoltage fault are critical to the motor's operation and will be a bad idea to disable in most cases.

Hi.
Thank you very much for your reply.
I wish to deactivate the detection of faults.
I'm practicing with an experimental robot and I do not want it to detect faults.
Currently, if I have a low voltage, the controller detects the fault and blocks it.
I have to restart the controller so that it works again.
I have a solenoid connected to a relay.
When I activate it for a moment, the roboteq controller detects a low voltage and blocks it.
It is an experimental arduino robot.
Can you tell me if there is any way to disable the fault detection?
I wait your answer.
Thanks you very much.
Best regards

It should clear the undervoltage fault when the battery voltage is restored to over the undervoltage level. Is it not doing this? If so, you should confirm that the battery voltage actually restores after the solenoid activation.

No, you cannot disable the undervoltage fault. You can only set it to a minimum. I believe the SDC2130 MCU needs at least 5 volts.
