Hi there, I am new to using Roboteq motor controllers and I'm having the same issue (also on Windows 10). Do you have any idea when the driver will be added to the files_download page?
My colleague has had some success with your suggested method of going through Device Manager but I do not have a motor controller with me so can't do the same, I was hoping to install the driver ready for the next time it is needed.
Thanks!

Had issues with DFU driver not showing the controller when updating Firmware. What worked for me was navigating to Program Files (x86)/Roboteq/Roborun Plus/DFU Driver/x64 Folder. You should see a file named STtube.inf (this file contains Windows installation instructions). Right Click on this file and select Install (this will install the DFU Driver).
Windows 10 x64
GBL26120
Updated Firmware from 2.0 to 2.1 and Roborun Plus from 2.0 to 2.1 (Firmware was updated using Roborun 2.0 and Roborun was updated to 2.1 after Firmware simply because, I already had 2.0 installed to match the original Firmware).
Note: In Roborun 2.1, you'll likely encounter the Font scaling issue on high resolution displays. To resolve this, navigate to Program Files (x86)/Roboteq/Roborun Plus Folder and Right Click on the RoborunPlus.exe file and select Properties. In the Properties window, Click Compatibility Tab and Click Change high DPI settings. In the High DPI setting override, check the Checkbox at the bottom and select System (Enhanced).
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
