Script and firmware update via CAN

Is it possible to update Microbasic script and/or firmware via CAN or CANOpen?
If not, would it be possible to write microcontroller code to update script via UART? Specifically - is this update protocols available for users?

Still no answer... but in latest version of Roborun I have found several new functions, like "upload to remote device" etc. that hint on the possibility to update a script over CAN. But no documentation and when I click "remote" it pops up the window asking to select remote device. The list is empty, even though there are 3 Roboteq controllers on the bus.

So, does this function work and if yes then how can we do it without Roborun?
