Having an issue with the controller setup. The controller has an absolute encoder feeding into one of the analogue inputs. At initial powerup, the unit moves the motor to set the encoder value to 0 i.e. home. This is not desired as I don't want the motor to move at startup. I've tried using a script that reads the encoder when powered up then sets the go-to position to that value. The issue doing this is it still moves and each time it powers of and on again and it gets a bit closer to 0. There seems to be a delay when it powers up before it reads the analogue encoder.
Any ideas on how to stop it moving when initially powered up?
