We've been trying to update our encoder firmware without success. We downloaded the encoder and controller files and unzipped them. Then, we attempted to follow the instructions in the manual regarding applying a 12-40V voltage across the small wires. The result? Blown fuse.

Next, we tried simply to load the updates. We selected the "update controller firmware" button and selected an object file. No dice - the dialog window did not show any file selected, even though we repeatedly tried to select.

Yes, we understand. We can clearly see the .obj files in the file selector in the Roborun utility. Trouble is, when we select them, they do not load. Nothing appears in the dialog box AFTER we have selected the file via the standard open file dialog. In other words, the roborun window (rather than the windows file dialog) does not show the file AFTER we have selected - it lists no file. We have repeatedly tried to select both obj files, which we can clearly see when we use the standard file dialog (other files, as you say, are not visible) but Roborun does not recognize our selection.
