Pull up resistor input

Pull up resistor input was created by glmnet
Hi, I see input goes ON when I provide a path to 5V now my device has an NPN output (which provides a path to 0V, floats when the output is off) can I configure the input to have a pull up resistor connected internally? I believe it will work with an external 2K resistor and negating the input logic but I was wondering if there is a configuration so I can save the resistors (wiring, etc)
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sorry for the late response, but there is no internal pull up resistor in our controllers digital input ports. We give a schematic that shows the internal wiring for a digital input, and specifically recommend using the external pullup resistor in figure 3-5 in our
