Microbasic Transfer

Hi,

Seeing the PC utility is not working is there any other way to transfer Microbasic Code to the Rio ?

all is fine until you click on scripting tab then just says, sensor lost and below in the log screen

only way to get things going again it to power of the rio and power on again. No even minicom gets response

Please sort this problem out as our development program is now standing as we cannot upload the Microbasic code. OS = Windows 7 and Raspberry has latest firmware installed. We have tried with other RPIs as well with the same issue.

Are you connected to the rio via USB or Serial?

If USB, try makeing a cable and use serial. Serial is always more robust.

When clicking on the script tab, the utility asks RIO to dump the list of all supported commands and queries.

It sends |?, |!, and |~. Try to send these from the console and see which cause the controller loss and where.

We will also do some testing on our side.

From the Raspberry using riocom:

|? => B:0:5

Then no more response

Unable to make up RS232 cable as I don't have the components or time.

so basicly all of them cause rio to hang

We can see the problem. We'll address.
