RIO Discontinued. New RIOX was created by roboteq
Roboteq has discontinued the RIO for the Raspberry Pi. The design has been mostly reused in a new Smart IO card we call RIOX, for "Roboteq IO eXtender". See dev.roboteq.com/dev1/index.php/roboteq-p...eripherals-extenders

RIOX is now a free standing module that is no longer dedicated to the Rasperry but that can instead be connected to a wide variety of platforms to provide Robot-centric peripherals. RIOX is also available in a version with AHRS.

RIOX connects to Roboteq Motor controllers, but also to PC's, Arduino, Beagle Boards, generic SBC, and of course, Raspberry Pi. Connection to RIOX can be done via RS232, TTL Serial, or CANbus. The direct RPI to RIO interface via SPI is no longer available.

You have also taken down the manual for the RIO, but I still have three of those. Where can I download it now?
