How a linux NUC machine talk to the RoboteQ

My configuration is the following,

<<NUC Computer>> <
> <<RoboteQ Motor Controller SBL 2360>>

hardware interface by USB/serial ? Pulse ? analog

programming interface by python sending the microBasic?
or by C language sending the MicroBasic?
