Hello,

I\'m using three Roboteq\'s SDC2150 controllers to drive six DC motors for my mobile robots and they are really great!
I can control each SDC2150 with my C++ application under Linux and everything it\'s very easy to do.

At the moment, I need to order another Roboteq controller since I have to add at least two linear actuators (electronic pistons) with 200mm-stroke for additional features on my robot and I\'d like to ask you if you can suggest me some linear actuators which can work fine with your controllers; in particular, I\'d like to order another SDC2150.

Can you help me to choose the correct linear actuators in order to use them with your controllers, please?

Thanks a lot, guys! :)

Linak makes good products from what we have seen at other customers:
www.linak.com/products/Linear-Actuators.aspx

You can use products with potentiometer feedback, or with hall sensor feedback.

Make sure you add a 1uF capacitor at the analog input on the connector, to filter noise.

If hall sensor, make sure that it is rated 5V

If you can find a version with PWM output, this may work even better, since this will be a lot more immune to noise.

Another vendor we have experience with is Figerli www.firgelliauto.com/

thank you a lot!

So, can I use roboteq controller such as SDC2150 to control the Linak linear actuator without any problems?

Can I control the stroke and the position with roboteq controller without using the Linak control box?

It is important for me since I really want to continue to use only Roboteq controllers on my robots.

If yes, is it difficult to connect the actuator to the roboteq controller?
