Senior Software Engineer - Motion Control and Robotic Systems

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer based near Athens, Greece.
Summary of Role
In this role as Software Engineer, you will be working with a highly motivated team to bring to market innovative solutions for customers in the AGV, Robotics and Industrial Automation Markets. Key aspects for this role will be to develop, test, and document PC tools to support our platform products.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software products and solutions in accordance with established standards.
- Provide technical documentation for the design, implementation, and testing of the software.
- Produce and review technical documents, specifications, and test procedures.
- Create and execute functional test setups.
- Keep up with technology and introduce new approaches/best practices to peers to gain technical knowledge and to resolve technical difficulties.
- Develop and execute unit tests to validate code.
- Research, explore and select the best possible methods and components for the company products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 3+ years’ experience with .NET stack - (such as .NET Core, .NET 4.8, Windows Forms and ASP.NET).
- Good knowledge of SignalR and RESTful APIs.
- Experience in any one of the modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular.js, Vue.js ... etc.).
- Strong experience with multi-threading programming models.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and CVS.
- Knowledge of communication Fieldbuses: CANOpen, UDS, EtherCAT, Profinet, EthernetIP, etc. is considered a plus.
- English language: good speaking and writing level.
- Good communication skills, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn.
