RoboG4 line includes three types of low-voltage, single- and
dual-channel drives with power outputs ranging from 1500W to 18kW.
A new addition to the line is an integrated unit that combines Roboteq's
motion control technology with Nidec's expertise in servo motors.
RoboG4 drives are ideal for advanced
motion control applications thanks to their
precise control, high power density, single or
dual-channel options, battery operation support,
regenerative braking, fieldbus
connectivity, durable construction,
functional safety, and advanced protection.
RoboG4 drives use a 4th Generation processor that runs
three times faster than our earlier drives. This allowed us
to create new, faster and best-in-class control
and motion algorithms,
See some of the reasons why RoboG4 Drives are the simplest and fastest to integrate.
WORKS WITH ANY MOTOR
RoboG4 drives are designed to support the most common
motor types, including Surface Permanent Magnets (SPM)
or Internal Permanent Magnets (IPM) brushless, DC
brushed, and AC Induction. They will also interface with
popular rotor sensors such as Hall, Quadrature Encoders, sin-cos, resolver, and SSI.
EASY DUAL
MOTOR
KYNEMATICS
In AGV/Mobile Robot applications, Dual Channel drives are simpler, cheaper, and easier to integrate and maintain. Motors are coordinated within the drive, resulting in superior and safer drive characteristics compared to two single channel drives.
EASY AS “PLUG & RUN”
Our new Motors with Integrated RoboG4 Drives are space-saving, easy-to-install and easy-to-service units. They come preconfigured and tuned, ready to jump immediately into action.
CONNECT TO ANYTHING
All our drives include traditional serial communication ports, with several model compatible with major Fieldbus standards. RoboG4 drives can be tightly coupled with other drives, computers, or PLC’s in factory installations and robotics systems.
AUTOMATED SETUP & TUNING
SCRIPTING
Our PC Tools makes development a snap: Attach a motor and let the drive automatically characterize it, calibrate the rotor sensor, and tune the Torque and Speed control loops, cutting your efforts from hours to minutes.
This Roboteq-exclusive feature lets you tailor the drive to your most exotic needs. Think of it as a PLC built into the drive, at no extra cost.
